A nice ending to a bad week

Tonight was exactly what the doctor ordered. Amy and I had a great evening out, doing the crazy stuff we always seem to do anytime we get together. After she scared me at the door (I didn't expect her to be standing on my balcony as I left to go meet her downstairs!), we made our way to Super Dragon. As usual, we discussed boys and life over nasty eggdrop soup, teriyaki beef skewers, crab puffs, spring rolls, sesame beef, and fried rice. Tasty, tasty!

We stopped at the Dollar Tree store (formerly Greenback's) after we ate and stocked up on strange stuff, including marshmallow ice cream cones. There's nothing like pure sugar, . We could practically feel out teeth rottin as we munched on them. Mmm. Our next destination was our very favorite park (*bwahahaha*). There was no action to be seen, so we made our way to Sonic. After having my eardrum blown out by the intercom, we enjoyed mozzarella sticks and drinks (Cherry Limeade for her and an Orange Creamslush for me). The carhop was really nice and told us all about the dollar store they opened not far from Sonic. After we paid, she came back and asked me where I was from. She then explained she saw my name on the credit card slip and recognized my last name. Her cousin has the same last name, so she wondered if we were related.

Since Amy works early tomorrow, we decided to call it a night. We parted ways in the parking lot and I came up to my place. When I walked in, I saw the gift bag she gave me and tore right into it. Goodness, that girl sure knows how to make me feel loved! She gave me so many incredible, wonderful goodies (I'll post pictures later). My favorites of all the gifts she ever gives me are the things she makes. This time, she decorated a tall, curved vase with ribbon and the word "smile." What a timely, appropriate sentiment! Thank you, Amy, for being the best friend in the world to me. I love you bunches and always have such a fantabulous time with you. You're the greatest!
